.NET MAUI unable to Pair with Mac

I have the GA release of Visual Studio 2022 17.3 my Mac is running Monterey OS and Visual Studio 2022 17.3 (2102). I've configured the Sharing options as outlined in all doco I can find but no matter what I get an issue with starting the IDB start process.

I've tried deleting the folders mentioned here https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/forums/en-US/6c610a25-e36e-4bd7-ad0d-886493a4541e/8220an-error-occurred-while-trying-to-start-the-broker8221-when-pair-visual-studio-2019-on?forum=xamarinios

and now I'm getting

I would have expected a clean Windows install with a fresh copy of VS 2022 17.3 and the same on the Mac to work out of the box. Anyone know what I should look at to diagnose the issue?

Uninstall present Visual Studio for Mac and install Visual studio for Mac 17.4 preview before trying again

Done and I'm still getting this "An error occured whilte trying to start IDB 17.3.0.295"

So I tried something else. My MacOS was upgraded to Monterey over an old image so technically there could have been some old config messing things up. I've now reformatted my Mac and installed Monterey from scratch. I have 17.3 installed as well as XCode and have enabled remote login. I can actually SSH from my windows box as well as run
ssh steve@xx.xx.x.xx 'ls'
and see the remote files, but when I try to pair I'm now getting this:

I haven't found any other information about steps I'm supposed to take. It's all done.

For complete understanding you can read the docs from https://video2.skills-academy.com/en-us/dotnet/maui/ios/pair-to-mac. Check that both Mac and Windows are on the same network. Also open XCode once after installing so that extra components get installed. I would recommend to install VS Mac 17.4 preview on your Mac.

I have been with a fine tooth comb through that pairing code well before I posted this help request. I did already open XCode once to get the licence signed, etc. The only thing I've not done since the OS Re-install is put on 17.4 preview, although prior to re-image I did and there was no difference...I'll try again. Something interesting is that I just retried connecting and now I'm getting a different error message. I stated in my last comment that I could actually ssh to the Mac, so I'm not sure why you're asking me to check that it's on the same network. I'm now doubting if anything I'm saying is being considered or are you simply replying with generic responses. Is anyone actually paying attention to my replies?

Hi @Stephen York , You have the IP in your pictures and comments, I have removed it . Please be careful to post the security information.
From the error message, it is thrown by the Mono Framework, you can try to install the Mono framework manually.
