Share-Port is a fact!

I took a while, but I finally got convinced by another sailor to create a Sharepoint blog site. My name is Andre Kieft and I am a Sharepoint support engineer at Microsoft here in the EMEA region. I'm based in the Netherlands and am supporting Sharepoint customers for over 2 years now. Before that I was supporting a variety of other products like Office, Windows, SMS and Exchange.

The general idea of this blog is the share my experiences that I come across when sailing with customers across all the oceans. Everytime I'll dock at the Share-Port, I'll try to drop of my experiences and upload my gathered information on this blog. This may vary from thoughts, links, documentation and possible resolutions all related to Sharepoint.

Hopefully I won't chase any red herrings during my journeys :-)

    D'oh! Wish I had known before I went to the Netherlands. Back in Oz now so too late. What do you mean "Surf's up"? Don't remember seeing big waves on Scheveningen Beach. Ah, you must mean flat water surfing! Come down to Bell's and we'll demo some real surf.

    I like the ocean theme. Fits in well with my company name (later...).

    Will visit your blog regularly. Always good to know someone on the inside to chat to.
