KB: Virtualized applications fail to launch and generate 00-000000C3 errors in sftlog.txt

imageHere’s a new KB we published on an issue where App-V applications may stop working when the client’s virtual drive is being scanned by AV software. Generally when this happens you’ll see a 000000C3 error in the SFTLOG.TXT.

2792121 - Virtualized applications fail to launch and generate 00-000000C3 errors in sftlog.txt (https://support.microsoft.com/kb/2792121)

It would be great when all new KB entries for App-V 5 have a same keyword e.g. App-V v5 to get better search results. /vkleinerde

Thanks for the feedback, I'll working on getting a little more consistency with our tags so things are easier to find. In the mean time, one thing you can do to view all App-V v5 KB articles is to search in our online KB using the full product title. For example, if you go to support.microsoft.com/kb and search for "Application Virtualization 5.0" you should see all KB articles that apply to App-V v5.
