From their offices in India, Parichay Das’s startup, Rootalpha, is helping connect employers with college students and recent college graduates through their new campus hiring solution, MyCampusing. Recently launched, MyCampusing streamlines recruiting for students and recent graduates. The site also doubles as a social career network, helping students connect with their peers and see how they are launching their professional careers.

With MyCampusing, employers are no longer confined by the costs of recruiting on campuses, and can showcase their brand from afar, says CEO and Founder Parichay Das. “We are really trying to bring campus recruiting into the digital age. Our goal is to help employers source from a vast network of talent and manage their recruiting workflow, while eliminating the cost of travel.”

A Microsoft BizSpark member, Rootalpha is heavily reliant on Azure for all of the company’s ventures, particularly MyCampusing. “As business has increasingly moved to the cloud, Microsoft’s expertise in scaling and advanced software solutions has made Azure the perfect product for our needs,” continues Das, “Azure has helped us design and build a product that has impressed investors and users.”

In addition to the Azure cloud, Rootalpha has utilized other Microsoft features, such as Machine Learning and Virtual Machines, to help improve their product and rapidly grow their customer base.

“Being a BizSpark member has been essential for us,” concludes Das.
