Powershell and Vista
So a while ago I posted the question "Is anyone using Powershell?" I got a few responses but none from our beloved Canadian readers!!!! Well with the relase of Vista to the world, the PowerShell team has also released the RTM build for Vista as well. You can get them at the links below and now there is no excuse not to try it!
Windows PowerShell 1.0 Installation for Windows Vista x86
Windows PowerShell 1.0 Installation for Windows Vista x64
Now that all the excuses are gone, I am going to ask once again! Are there any CANADIAN IT Pros using PowerShell to manage and/or monitor their enviroment? If you answer yes to that question, email me. I have something special just for you.

How does one go about emailing you exactly? I can't seem to find your email address in your profile, and the catnflsh@microsoft.com bounces back with a quota is full message.Anonymous

Hey Andrew... You can contact the team by using the EMAIL link at the top of the page or you can click on the "Ask a Question" button at the left. Both will go to a contact form that will turn into an email and get delivered right into my inbox. I then either reply or forward it off to the IT Pro Advisor or whole team, based on what is in the message. Pretty simple - AND it is "THE" quickest way to get to a real live human at Microsoft in Canada. Rick Claus IT Pro AdvisorAnonymous

Hey Perhaps you should do a blog post on how to connect to the team as the experience doesn't seem clear. As well, we should share the message "I can't seem to find your email address in your profile, and the catnflsh@microsoft.com bounces back with a quota is full message." With our marcom folks, John OAnonymous

What a great idea? Once I return from TechReady, our internal training summit, I'll put a post together on that. In the meantime you can email me at rodney.buike [at] microsoft.com
