Register for the Melbourne BizSpark Windows Phone 7 Hands-on-labs and Workshop

I have limited places for the Melbourne BizSpark Windows Phone 7 Hands-on-labs on Friday June 25th and the weekend workshop on June 26th and 27th!!

If interested in either the hands-on-labs and/or the weekend workshop then you must email me at dglover@microsoft.com with the subject line of “BizSpark Windows Phone 7 Registration for Hands-on-labs (June 25) & Workshop (June 26&27)”, ASAP, places limited, first in, best dressed etc!!

The weekend workshop is all about you building something that you’d like to take to market. You can work by yourself or in teams, Nick Randolph (https://www.builttoroam.com) and I will be there to help you, and (at your discretion) present your work to the judging panel to be in the running for the event prize.

For now the prize is at least an Xbox 360.

In preparation for Friday’s hands-on-labs and/or the weekend workshop, could you please install on to your laptop the Windows Phone 7 Developer and Design tools as follows:-

Install the Visual Studio 2010 for Windows Phone 7 from https://developer.windowsphone.com/windows-phone-7/

1. Installed Expression Blend 4 Release Candidate (not the RTM) plus
   • Microsoft® Expression Blend® Add-in Preview 2 for Windows® Phone
   • Microsoft Expression Blend Software Development Kit Preview 2 for Windows Phone
2. Windows Phone 7 Training Kit for Developers - April 2010 CTP

Where/When times

All happening at Microsoft Melbourne Office – 4 Freshwater Place, level 5

• Hands-on-labs: Friday June 25^th, 10 am, stay as long as you want (within reason:))
• Workshop: Saturday & Sunday June 26^th and 27^th, 10am start. Event Judging, Sunday at 4pm
