Server Platforms Networking Event in the Silicon Valley

We are planning another networking event in our Mountain View office. Here's the announcement. Feel free to contact me if you are interested!

Microsoft’s Server Platform Business Marketing Organization (BMO) is hosting an invitational networking event in our Mountain View (CA) location in early February (2006). The Server Platform BMO is responsible for marketing Microsoft’s server platform products and solutions (a $3B business!), helping our customers and partners manage security risk through our Security Mobilization Initiative and marketing to the IT Professional audience. In other words, we translate product strategies into actionable content and programs for our field sales force and our partner community. This requires a deep understanding of our customer segments and a talent for creating high impact marketing strategies that result in sales readiness, partner enablement and customer awareness. If you are up for the challenge of working with some of the sharpest minds in the industry, we may have the perfect opportunity for you. We are currently recruiting for these challenging and rewarding positions (all located at our Redmond, WA headquarters):

Marketing Manager

Group Marketing Manager

Server Platform Business Manager

Product Manager

Security Product Manager

Segment Business Performance Manager

Technical Sales Engagement Manager

We are looking for individuals with exceptional communication, leadership and marketing skills. More importantly, you must have empathy for the customer and a passionate drive to succeed.

    Heather-

    I currently live in the Seattle area and would still like to be considered for a position on the BDO team. Will I still need to attend this CA event or will you be hiring from the Redmond office also?

    Hey! This was the same event that I attended last yr before joining MS...

    You know what Heather -we shd have an alum meeting for this - or even a party u throw for all of "HEather's recruits" !!

    I know you are jus trying hard to find a reason to party anyway ;)

    Hey Pradeep, this one is for the BMO. I think the one that you went to was for Server and Tools. same set up Anyway, though. Different hiring managers and recruiters attending. I'm actually going to this one this time ; )

    Now I'm not self-involved enough tp throw a party like that ; ) And after vegas, I am definitely NOT looking for a reason to party for a while. I need to recover!
