    YAY! No more running my script to set this on new agents every month! Is there anything else you advice customers to default to (Other then the SQL queries and registry settings for management servers you updated the other day)?

    Does this work in SCOM 2012 R2? We currently rely on a management pack to do this for us.

    Would it enable the setting for already existing agents or the the ones installed after running the commands.

      Both in my experience. Since existing agents generally inherit the default setting.

    Can't get this to work on Windows Server 2016, getting:add-pssnapin : No snap-ins have been registered for Windows PowerShell version 5.When doing it remotely from a 2012 R2 I get:Set-DefaultSetting : Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation.Any ideas?

          How are you launching powershell? I have tested this on WS2016 management servers and it works fine. Is the SCOM console installed?

            Launching powershell as admin. No console installed.I guess that it needs to be installed, I'll install it and try again. :)
