The webcast was mainly centered around getting from beta 2 to beta 2 tr in the quickest way possible.  The documentation out right now doesn't really give any perscriptive guidance on Analysis Services, RTM will have docs.  I've found the setup pages in "Server Settings" to be pretty straight foward and I've been able to build the cube, but I certainly have a destinct advantage over most people :).  I would give it a run and see what happens.  If you run into problems the beta newsgroups have full time people behind there waiting to answer questions and guide you through.

Karma gets you everytime :).  I entered the comment about Analysis Services being easy... then I get slammed by it :(.  So to qualify my above statement, it's easy with SQL 2000.  With SQL 2005 it's not straightforward at all.  Look at the following article on how to get DSO setup for SQL 2005: http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms403370.aspx I hope that will be a little more helpful :).

Ha...that makes me feel so much better about having trouble with the transition to 2005.
