Why is my laptop not as cool as this one?

The Apple Mac aint coool - but the entire ecosystem around it is - and most of the users seem to be artists - which makes for uber coolness. Anyways here's a really neat laser etched powerbook with all the details of the process - the before and the after.

Why is my Toshiba not this coool? Anyone around Seattle/Redmond with a laser-cutting machine? Anyone? Anyone? Buehler?

    Wonder what happens if you try to laser etch cheap, meltable plastic?

    the Toshiba i have is the Protege M200. The top is not meltable plastic ;)

    Well, you never said that... did you? ;) (In this post at least). Also, Omar Shahine did a comparison (http://blogs.msdn.com/omars/archive/2004/05/07/127611.aspx) of the M200 and the PowerBook. Not sure if that was intentional or not.
