TFS Administration Tool 2.1 has been released

Due to a busy summer and autumn I haven’t had much time to work on the TFS Administration Tool but I am pleased to announce that TFS Administration Tool 2.1 has been released. You can download it from the TFS Administration Tool project website. This release is a very exiting one as it is the first version of the TFS Administration Tool which is built on top of the Team Foundation Server 2010 object model.

Note: Before installing the TFS Administration Tool 2.1 please make sure that you have removed the previous versions of the tool from your machine and that you have Team Explorer 2010 installed.

Please download TFS Administration Tool 2.1 and let us know what you think about it. In case you run into any bugs or you would like to see a new feature in the next release please make sure you file a work item on the project web site.

Thank you so much.   You rock!   I was getting all twitchy and almost remembering the 2008 days fondly.  <G>

I did notice some bugs with this tool when I try to add/edit permission on SharePoint and SQL Report i.e.  It would display a blank on SharePoint and SQL report even though the project has report and SharePoint enabled.  There was time that I try to add/edit permission on SharePoint with this tool, although it shows that the permission was applied, I didn't the same permission was applied on the SharePoint server. It works great with TFS permission and it is a pretty cool tool. Thanks for all the hard work and I am looking forward to new feature and enhancement in the future.
