Upcoming Sci-Fi Movies

This is a great quick list of the scifi movies in the pipeline.  All sorts of great movies are under production, including: The Hobbit, Star Trek XI, Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, Indiana Jones IV, Wall-E (Short Circuit III animated?) The Day the Earth Stood Still (remake w Keaunu Reeves), The Mummy III, and Logan's Run (a remake). avp2_poster-large-slice-tiny

I'm particularly looking forward to Logan's Run, but if War of the Worlds is any indication, it'll be quite different than the original.

There's even rumor of a new Tron sequel!  Tron has always been on of my favorite movies.  I just added the poster to my wish list ($6 at amazon.com).

    Call my cynical, but I have no faith in the next Star Trek movie being any good after the previous one.  The same holds true of  remakes, since they tend to be much worse than the original.  At least the Star Trek has hope since Berman isn't involved in this one. Although, I am looking forward to The Hobbit, Prince Caspian, and Wall-E (mostly because it is made by Pixar).  India Jones could be good, or it could be bad.  Here's to hoping they stay faithful to the first and third movies crosses fingers.

    Too many Re-makes, no more new Sci Fi movie out of the pipeline, with as many Sci-Fi novels out there, why can't there be new story lines?  No imagination!  Lazy minds...
