OneDrive crash on launch

ISSUE:

Immediately after launching, the OneDrive client crashes.

CAUSE:

There’s a string in the name of your file that is reserved by Windows (ex. PRN.docx).

LPT4

LPT6
LPT7
LPT8
LPT9

RESOLUTION:

Remove the reserved file from the OneDrive site or change its name.

    Does the file name have to exactly match one of these, or will OneDrive crash if any of these appear somewhere within the name? (Eg: "Console.docx")

      The filename with an exact match cause the issue.

    Which OneDrive client does this affect? The new OneDrive sync client, the previous OneDrive personal sync client, the previous OneDrive for Business sync client, or the OneDrive for Business Next Generation Sync Client?
