Note for Windows XP users: Pnrp v2 upgrade location

PNRP resolver-based applications running on XPSP2 with the P2P networking pack installed are running  v1 of the PNRP protocol. It is advisable to upgrade to PNRP v2 which can be downloaded as an XP update from https://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/920342

Significance for Peer channel applications:

- The main advantage of this upgrade is that your apps are interoperable between Windows Vista and XPSP2

    Hi Todd, THanks for trying out our technologies..Unfortunately PNRP is not supported on Win2k3... -Shalini.

    This is really a WOW ! technology. Got p2p samples to work on my WinXP PC after I upgraded to Pnrp v2. Thanks ! Ram

    I installed pnrp over my sp2. but i m still getting the exception that says pnrp is not installed. i m just a begginer, m i missing something here. please let me know
