Copy freecell plus card.dll from shell 32 in windows folder from your xp computer and put on your 8.1 computer. create a shortcut on your desktop to the stored location and away you go. regards icestormboyAnonymous

Hi. I have my old computer right here I put that .dll file on a stick and put it in my new Windows 8.1 laptop and it won't open. So I haven't gone away what did I do wrong?Anonymous

As far as I can see with 8.1, internet access of some kind is required to play these games. Not true with these games in Windows 7. I spend 5 to 6 months per year in the USA where internet is limited or non-existent.
