OpsMgr 2007 R2 CU4 Ships!

I’m very happy to announce that R2 CU4 has now shipped.  The Download and KB Article are available here:

CU4 is the highest quality CU shipped thus far, and resolves numerous long standing OM issues.  It also significantly improves the deployment/install experience, while at the same time delivering some critical customer features such as SQL 2008 R2 Support. It’s the first CU to have been released to TAP first (Beta Release), and the second CU to integrate OM + XPlat, which has now become the expected experience for our customers.

    We are using CU4 with RHEL5 (2.6.18-194.17.4.el5) and find the physical disk monitor on one of two identically configured hosts is periodically returning an error due to the disk {0} being offline.  This can happen within 15 minutes of the monitor returning to healthy.  I am going to look throuh the logfiles, but do you have any suggestions on what we might have to do to resolve this problem based on this symptom? Thanks.

    For technical issues with the product, please post your questions in the TechNet Forums (social.technet.microsoft.com/.../threads). These forums are monitored by a lot of technical people including customer support, who can track issues like these and get your questions answered sooner.
