FilePlanet Update

...and the saga continues. From what I can gather it appears that FilePlanet has a beta build they can distribute--they've tested it themselves. At this point it looks like the only thing holding up the beta is a way to provide the necessary information required to unlock the full functionality. Each user will require their own unique code. Maybe FilePlanet hasn't had to deal with this type of beta until now. Who knows? Worst case they could release it with limited functionality but obviously that wouldn't be the preferred route. Anyway, it's in their hands and they're trying to sort it out. Stay tuned...or not. ;)

    T-man,

I've done plenty of betas through them that require a unique key, and when you've been selected, you get the key through email or through a signup page.

Very odd that they are having issues with this one, but I'll keep my eyes peeled.

Thanks a lot for the updates, I'm very much looking forward to getting my hands dirty with this version.

Ya, strange that they would have any issues. I do all their betas and they always have no trouble distributing their unique keys. Maybe it'll come next week. Can't wait to play it.

This DOES beg to ask; what happens with the NDA's that 'legit' testers all subscribed!? Is the Fileplanet to be a public Beta of the same files we're wrestling with? Did I miss something ?
