New Visual Studio 2008 Product Category

And the new categories keep on coming! There will be a new product category added to your WSUS server Products and Classifications dialog, under the Visual Studio family today September 9. The new category will be titled Visual Studio 2008. The Visual Studio 2008 category will allow all classifications of updates to be offered to the Visual Studio 2008 and Visual Studio Team System 2008 product families.

    Hi Cecilia, When does this start showing up on WSUS servers?  It's 4 days later and I just manually sync'd and no new Visual Studio 2008 category as of yet.

    Same here - no Visual Studio 2008 product category as of scheduled sync on September 2.  The two new product Windows Server 2008 categories announced last week are showing up fine, but no VS 2008.

    Alas, Same boat here too :-(.  No VS Studio 2008 category, just the 2005.   Spose I can do it by hand but rather have Wsus do the legwork.
