SharePoint 2013: Default Site Templates

SharePoint 2013 supports both 2010 and 2013 experience version. This means that SharePoint 2013 includes the ability to present sites in the style of SharePoint 2010 Products or the style of SharePoint 2013.

Some SharePoint 2010 Products site templates have been deprecated and are not available as an option in SharePoint 2013. The deprecated site templates will be removed completely from the next version of SharePoint. For more information, and to see a complete list of deprecated site templates, see Changes from SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint 2013.

Apart from all the site templates included with SharePoint 2010, SharePoint Server 2013 has some new site templates.
