Hyper-V Troubleshooting: 0x00002EE7 error when enabling replication

You may encounter the following set of error messages in your eventviewer when enabling replication:

29262  Hyper-V failed to resolve the Replica server 'IncorrectServer' name. Verify that the
Replica server name provided is correct.
 32000 Hyper-V failed to enable replication for virtual machine 'VMName': The server name or address could not be resolved (0x00002EE7). (Virtual machine ID 62BC21DB-F469-4FF1-8948-72576A54CBC1)

What does the error mean: The system is unable to resolve the replica server name or the Hyper-V Replica Broker name provided as part of enabling this replication relationship.

How should you fix the error:
Check if name resolution to the Replica server succeeds by doing a ping-test to the server by it’s name. Validate if ping is able to resolve the name to it's appropriate IP address. If it's unable to do so, recheck your server name for any typos. Check if your server is able to ping the DNS server and if the server name is resolvable from any other server.
