SharePoint: How to auto forward emails from Outlook to Document Library

Steps

To auto forward Outlook emails to a SharePoint document library, follow the steps below:

  1. Make sure Target Doc Library contains an email address and it’s working.
  2. Go to Outlook and click New > Contact.
  3. Add the email address of that document library into Outlook Contacts.
  4. Save it and create a Rule from Outlook > Tools > Rules and Alerts > New Rule.
  5. Select "Start from a blank rule" option.
  6. Select "Check messages when they arrive" > Next
  7. Select "Condition" for which you want to forward emails to Doc Lib in Step 2.
  8. Select the action "Forwards it to people or distribution list" and click on People or Distribution List.
  9. Select "Outlook Address book" from the Address Book list and you will get SharePoint Document Library email address as a contact. Add it.
  10.  Click Next > Finish.

Send an email with that condition to check the rule.
