Workflow Service is not Installed or Workflow Requires a Compatible Workflow Service
Issue:
When creating the work flow, we encounter the issue of creating workflow in SharePoint. The error should be” SharePoint 2013 workflow requires a compatible workflow service configured with SharePoint such as workflow manager”.
Initially, the Workflow Service in SharePoint 2013 is not connected. It requires a compatible workflow service such as Workflow Manager.
Solution:
Ensure that the Service Application is configured for the workflow manager:
CA -> Application Management -> Manage service applications -> Workflow Service Application
Install and configure the workflow for SharePoint Server 2013.
