Why is it blue?

It is a feature of NTFS file system where Windows automatically compresses some files and folders to save space on hard disk. So compressed files are shown in blue in color.

How to test this feature:

1] Open File Explorer or Windows Explorer  > View > Options.

2]  Click on View tab.

3]  Scroll down to option "Show encrypted or compressed NTFS files in color". It would be enabled by default.

4] If you uncheck or disable the above option then there will be no blue colored system files and You will not be able to identify the compressed files.
