SCCM 1606 stuck on checking prerequisites & installing

Hi All,

I have face same issue for updating System center on 1606 getting stuck on check Pre-requisites & installing, refer number of links on TechNet & noob most of them suggesting to delete Easysetuppayload package using SQL commands “DELETE FROM CM_P01.dbo.CM_UpdatePackages WHERE PackageGuid='0d256560-ed2c-45b5-8d75-4d38ab3f758c';” tried multiple times but no success , referred CMUpdate & hman but no significant error apart from Copying “\?\c:\Program Files\Microsoft Configuration Manager\CMUClient\ccmsetup.cab to \?\c:\Program Files\Microsoft Configuration Manager\Client\ccmsetup.cab, Failed, Win32 Error = 5”  Validated permission on folder it was perfectly set.

This error remind me SCCM 2007 restoration scenario, where I was doing DR test but restoration getting failed due to access issue for one of the customer environment.

Same trick work for me here I can say simply magic happens after running console Run as Admin, logs started flowing & after 30 minutes I can see my SCCM on 1606 BINGOOOOOOOOOO…..
