Surface Pro 4 Troubleshooting: device shows black screen on power-on

Symptoms

• You see the black screen , with no pointer.
• You will find Fan Noise once you power on, but still no display.
• Device gets heat up.
• Even after rebooting the surface pro 4 device you will still see the black screen.

Solution (Soft Reset)

• Press CTRL + Shift + Windows + B
• Then single press on power button.
• Wait 30 seconds.
• Hold power button for 30 seconds.
• Single press on power button (device powered on).
