SSIS Container Hierarchy

The SSIS container hierarchy is an informal term referring to a group of [[articles:SSIS containers|SSIS containers]] that can be arranged hierarchically. Each [[articles:SSIS package|SSIS package]] is, implicitly, a representation of a container hierarchy however it must be realised that a container hierarchy can extend over multiple packages if the [[Execute Package Task]] is being employed.
