StringPrototype.substr(Object, Double, Object) Method

Definition

Creates a new string that contains the specified number of consecutive characters from the specified string, starting from the specified character position. Use substring(Object, Double, Object) instead, if you can.

This API supports the product infrastructure and is not intended to be used directly from your code.
