Public Overrides Function GetIVSize (algorithm As String) As Integer
Parameters
- algorithm
- String
The cryptographic algorithm to get the size of the initialization vector (IV
).
Returns
The size, in bits, of the initialization vector (IV
) that is required for the cryptographic algorithm specified in the algorithm
parameter.
Exceptions
algorithm
is not supported. The supported algorithms are TripleDesEncryption, Aes128Encryption, Aes192Encryption, and Aes256Encryption.
Remarks
