Add and maintain your personal contacts

Information about your personal contacts is displayed on the Personal contacts FastTab on the Personal information page. Use the Personal information page to update information about your personal contacts.

Depending on your role or the privileges that are assigned to you, you might need to go to your Employee services site before you complete the procedures in this topic.
Add a personal contact
Note
For the procedure below, use the New personal contact page to complete steps 3-5. Use the Edit personal contact page to complete steps 6-21.
Click Personal information on the top link bar, and then click Personal details on the Quick Launch.
On the Personal contacts FastTab, click Add.
Indicate if the new personal contact is a person or an organization.
Enter the first, middle, and last name of the person or the name of the organization.
Click Save and close.
The New personal contact page will close and the Edit personal contact page will be displayed, where you can enter additional information about the personal contact. Steps 6-21 of this procedure provide information about how to enter information in the Edit personal contact page.
Select the relationship that you have with the person or organization. If the personal contact is an organization, go to step 8. Otherwise, continue to the next step.
Indicate if the person is your primary or secondary emergency contact.
Indicate if the person or organization is your beneficiary. If the personal contact is an organization, go to step 18. Otherwise, continue to the next step.
Indicate if the person is your dependent. If the person is not a dependent, go to step 18.
Note
This field is available only if you selected Child, Domestic partner, Ex-spouse, Parent, Sibling, or Spouse in step 6.
Select the gender of the person.
Enter the birthdate of the person.
Indicate if the person is a full-time student.
Indicate if the person has disabilities. If the person does not have disabilities, go to step 15.
Enter the date when the person was verified to have disabilities.
Indicate if a court order requires that you cover the healthcare of the person. If you are not required to cover the healthcare of the person, go to step 17.
Enter the expiration date of the court order that requires that you cover the healthcare of the person.
To add identification information for the personal contact, click Identification. For more information, see Add or update identification information.
To change the name of the personal contact, click Name change.
Add address information for the personal contact. For more information, see Create, update, or view an address record.
Add contact details for the personal contact. For more information, see Create, update, or view a contact information record.
Click Save and close.
Modify information for a personal contact
Click Personal information on the top link bar, and then click Personal details on the Quick Launch.
On the Personal contacts FastTab, select the personal contact to modify information for and then click Edit.
Enter the necessary information and then click Save and close.
Delete information for a personal contact
Click Personal information on the top link bar, and then click Personal details on the Quick Launch.
On the Personal contacts FastTab, select the personal contact to delete and then click Remove.
