View catalog and campaign items

When you shop for items, you can use the Product catalog page to view available items. This page displays product groups, which are categories of items, such as furniture or appliances. You can click a group to open the Product catalog group page, and then click an item to open the View product details page. This page displays detailed information about the item.

You can also use the Campaign items page to view a catalog of campaign items. These are items that may be available for a specific event or promotion, such as sale items or other special offers.

You can add both types of items to your shopping cart.

  1. Click Home on the top link bar, and then click Product catalog on the Quick Launch. On the Product catalog page, click a product group.

    –or–

    Click Home on the top link bar, and then click Campaign items on the Quick Launch to display the Campaign items page.

  2. Click an item. On the View product details page, view the details of the item that include the item number, product name, description, and list price.

    You can click Add to cart to add the item to your shopping cart. For more information, see Add items to the shopping cart.

    Note

    If your company uses the Product configurator or the Product Builder module and you select an item that has been set up as a modeling-enabled item in the Microsoft Dynamics AX client, you must select the Configure line icon and select additional configuration information for the item.
