Important

Postpone action on a recommendation object to a specified future date and time by marking its status as postponed. On the date and time provided, Microsoft Entra ID will automatically update the status of the recommendation object to active again.

This API is available in the following national cloud deployments.

Permissions

Choose the permission or permissions marked as least privileged for this API. Use a higher privileged permission or permissions only if your app requires it. In delegated scenarios with work or school accounts, the signed-in user must be assigned a supported Microsoft Entra role or a custom role with a supported role permission. The following least privileged roles are supported for this operation.

  • Security Administrator
  • Security Operator
  • Application Administrator
  • Cloud Application Administrator
