Business value

Track progress over time and measure the effectiveness of your sustainability initiatives utilizing the new baseline year and baseline value metrics. Target and current values support percentages, saving users time in having to translate a percentage into a real number manually. Organizations can define multiple goal target values that support scenarios such as a 2030 and 2050 emissions target. This saves time in having to define multiple goals to support more than a single target. If your goal is in alignment with the latest climate science to meet the goals of the Paris agreement and has been approved by the SBTi, you can use the new indicator to quickly identify which goals are SBTi approved.

Feature details

To support baselines, the starting value will be repurposed to become the baseline value. Users can align the new baseline value with a baseline year. The baselines are included in the new CSRD reporting output. Goals are enhanced to support the ability to express the target value as a percentage. These enhancements are in addition to the real number targets already supported. We'll support up to 10 total targets. For each target, you can define a Target name, target date, and target value. The targets are available in the export of data for CSRD report types. Current values also support percentages in addition to real numbers. A new Science Based Target initiative (SBTi) checkbox appears on the goal details page. This checkbox is used in reporting to quickly identify which goals are approved by the SBTi.
