Feature details
With this feature, you can deploy a data estate on Microsoft Fabric. This data estate provides a central location to store, enrich, report, and analyze emissions data for the Azure and Microsoft 365 services used in your tenants. This feature allows you to perform the following actions:
- Centralize Microsoft emissions data from Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability APIs into a Microsoft Fabric lakehouse.
- Enrich the emissions data with custom usage information, such as active users, hours used, or line of business data.
- Analyze the data for actionable insights and advanced reporting.
The data estate contains programmatic artifacts in Fabric workspaces, such as data pipelines, lakehouses, and notebooks. The artifacts help you to get started immediately with ingesting, transforming, and analyzing the emissions data for Azure and Microsoft 365.
