Configure Project ESG Reporting (preview)

After you deploy Project ESG Reporting (preview), you need to complete these basic settings:

Create a company profile

When you create a company profile, you provide information about your company to ensure your sustainability reports are accurate and specific.

If you currently have Microsoft Sustainability Manager, your company information prefills automatically.

  1. On the left navigation, select Company profile.

  2. On the General tab, enter basic organizational details for your company.

  3. On the Structure tab, set up your company's organizational hierarchy to define the granularity of calculations, analytics, reports, and goals.

  4. On the Facilities tab, enter information about each of your facilities, such as offices or manufacturing plants.

Add unit groups

To use any units of measure or conversions that aren't available by default, you can add unit groups at any time.

  1. On the left navigation, select Unit groups.

  2. To add a new unit group, select New.

  3. On the New unit group page, complete the information, and then select Save or Save & Close.

Add reporting periods

  1. On the left navigation, select Reporting periods.

  2. Select New.

  3. Enter a time range, and then select Save or Save & Close.
