Axis.TickLabels property (PowerPoint)

Returns the tick-mark labels for the specified axis. Read-only TickLabels.

Syntax

expression. TickLabels

expression A variable that represents an 'Axis' object.

Note

Although the following code applies to Microsoft Word, you can readily modify it to apply to PowerPoint.

The following example sets the color of the tick-mark label font for the value axis of the first chart in the active document.

With ActiveDocument.InlineShapes(1)

    If .HasChart Then

        .Chart.Axes(xlValue).TickLabels.Font.ColorIndex = 3

    End If

End With
