3.2.4.1.9 Compressing the Message

If IsCompressionSupported is TRUE and Connection.CompressionIds is not empty, the client SHOULD<121> compress the message as specified in section 3.1.4.4 if one of the following conditions is satisfied.

  • CompressAllRequests is TRUE.

  • Application requested to compress SMB2 WRITE request as specified in section 3.2.4.7.
