Get-AzureNetworkSecurityGroup

Gets details for a network security group.

Note

The cmdlets referenced in this documentation are for managing legacy Azure resources that use Azure Service Manager (ASM) APIs. This legacy PowerShell module isn't recommended when creating new resources since ASM is scheduled for retirement. For more information, see Azure Service Manager retirement.

The Az PowerShell module is the recommended PowerShell module for managing Azure Resource Manager (ARM) resources with PowerShell.

Syntax

Description

The Get-AzureNetworkSecurityGroup cmdlet returns details for an Azure network security group. Specify the Detailed parameter to display the network security rules.

Indicates that this cmdlet returns the network security rules for the network security group.

Specifies the name of the network security group that this cmdlet gets.

Note

When a classic network security group is created in a resource group other than Default-Networking using the Azure portal, you must use the following PowerShell syntax: Get-AzureNetworkSecurityGroup -Name 'Group myResouceGroup myNetworkSecurityGroup'.
