concat Function

Returns the concatenation of the arguments.

Syntax

            string concat(string, string, string*)

Parameters

  • string
    Any number of commas separated strings to be concatenated.

Return Value

Returns a string equal to the concatenation of the arguments.

Remarks

If an argument is not of type string, it is first converted to a string and then evaluated.

Example

The following function call returns "abcdefg".

concat("abc", "d", "ef", "g")

The following function call returns "abc3efg".

concat("abc", 3, "ef", "g")
