Gets or sets the identity that last modified the current line item.

Property Value

The identity that last modified the current instance. Cannot be nullNothingnullptra null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).
Exceptions

Remarks
The system does not set ModifiedBy automatically. The site code is responsible for setting this property. The ID can be the globally unique identifier (GUID) associated with the user, or the Windows identity representation that can be in the SAMAccountName format (domain\username) or the UserPrincipalName format (username@domain).
ModifiedBy is trimmed of leading and trailing white space characters before being set.
The default maximum length for ModifiedBy is 64 characters, as defined in the corresponding table column constraint specified in the default orders storage mapping file, OrderObjectMappings.xml.
