static bool IsBuiltInColumn(

public static function IsBuiltInColumn(

- columnName

The column name.
Return Value

true to indicate columnName is a built in column; otherwise, false.
Remarks
Used to determine if a column is marked as a built in the CatalogItems database column.
This method does not report a built in column at the catalog system level.
For example;
CatalogItemsDataSetSchema.IsBuiltInColumn("BaseCatalogName") will return true since "BaseCatalogName" is a built in property in the CatalogItemsDataSet.
However, CatalogPropertiesDataSetSchema.IsBuiltInColumn("BaseCatalogName") will return false since "BaseCatalogName" is not a build in property in the CatalogPropertiesDataSet.
The following catalog database columns in the CatalogItems table are marked built in:
BaseCatalogName
CatalogClassTypes
CatalogName
CategoryName
DefinitionName
DisplayName
IsSearchable
ListPrice
Oid
PrimaryParentCategoryName
ProductId
Rank
UseCategoryPricing
VariantId
