Remarks

A security token manager parses tokens from incoming SOAP messages. WSE uses a DerivedKeyTokenManager when a SOAP message that contains a <DerivedKeyToken> element is received. To change the default handling of derived key tokens, derive a class from DerivedKeyTokenManager , override the appropriate methods, and add the name of your class to the receiver's configuration file using the <securityTokenManager> element. For more information, see How to: Create a Security Token Manager for a Custom Security Token. When you use the default DerivedKeyTokenManager, no configuration elements are required.
