InkCollectorMouseUpEventHandler Delegate
Represents the method that handles the MouseUp event of an InkCollector object.
Namespace: Microsoft.Ink
Assembly: Microsoft.Ink (in Microsoft.Ink.dll)
Syntax
'Declaration
Public Delegate Sub InkCollectorMouseUpEventHandler ( _
sender As Object, _
e As CancelMouseEventArgs _
)
'Usage
Dim instance As New InkCollectorMouseUpEventHandler(AddressOf HandlerMethod)
public delegate void InkCollectorMouseUpEventHandler(
Object sender,
CancelMouseEventArgs e
)
public delegate void InkCollectorMouseUpEventHandler(
Object^ sender,
CancelMouseEventArgs^ e
)
JScript does not support delegates.
Parameters
sender
Type: System.ObjectThe source InkCollector object of this event.
e
Type: Microsoft.Ink.CancelMouseEventArgsThe CancelMouseEventArgs object that contains the event data.
Remarks
When you create an InkCollectorMouseUpEventHandler delegate, you identify the method that handles the event. To associate the event with your event handler, add an instance of the delegate to the event. The event handler is called whenever the event occurs, unless you remove the delegate. For performance reasons, the default event interest is off but is turned on automatically in managed code if you add an event handler.
To improve real-time ink performance, hide the mouse cursor while inking. To do so, hide the mouse cursor in the MouseDown event handler, and show the mouse cursor in the MouseUp event handler.
Note
Some controls rely on a specific relationship between MouseDown, MouseMove, and MouseUp events. Cancelling these events may have unanticipated results.
