Enable Web API Preview

The Microsoft Dynamics CRM Web API preview provides an open, HTTP based programming interface to Dynamics CRM. ISVs, partners, and other customers can leverage this interface for early development of server-to-server and client-to-server applications across a broad range of computer hardware and devices, operating systems, and programming languages. The Web API preview will come in stages. In each release you find new features and capabilities. The preview lets developers learn and experiment with the capabilities of the Web API in future releases and provide feedback. The Web API preview is not meant to be used in production environments. Enable or disable Web API Preview

You can enable or disable the Web API preview by following the steps:

  • Go to Settings > Administration..

  • On the nav bar, choose Administration > System Settings.

  • Choose the Previews tab.

  • Check the I have read and agree to the license terms checkbox.

  • Choose Yes, to enable Web API. Choose No to disable.
