Troubleshooting: Analyzing Help Call Errors

If some of your Help calls do not work after you have created you Help file, you can follow the one or more of the following procedures to analyze what may cause the error:

  • Enable the Help debug mode. For more information, see How to: Enable Help Debug Mode.

  • Analyze the Help Debug window for the defective Help calls to see which Help calls Microsoft Dynamics NAV is trying to make. For more information, see Help Debug Window.

  • Check that the relevant language-specific folder on your Help Server contains an .htm file with a file name that matches the Help call.
