How to: Send Email Messages

When Microsoft Dynamics NAV is integrated with an email system, you can choose the button on the right side of the E-Mail field to open a window in which you can create and send a message.

To send an email message

  1. To open a new email message window, use one of the following methods:

    • On a card, in the E-Mail field, choose the Send E-mail button.

    • In a Details FactBox, in the E-Mail field, choose the link, if one is available.

  2. Enter the recipient’s' email addresses in the To, Cc, or Bcc box.

    Note

    If you have entered an address in the E-Mail field, this address is automatically entered in the To field of the email message.

  3. In the Subject box, type the subject of the message.

  4. After you have composed the message, choose the Send button.
