BESR Customer ID Field, ESR Setup Table

Specifies an 11 digit number if the ESR statement was made by the bank. In this case, the bank defines the ESR Account No..

The bank can identify the bank customer using the BESR customer ID. The BESR customer ID is printed on the coding line as first part of the reference number and assigned by the bank. If the BESR customer ID has less than 11 digits, the remaining numbers of the ID must be filled in with zeros. Check with the bank to find out if these zeros should be added before or after the ID.

Two possible types of representation for the ID 567999 are 00000567999 and 56799900000.

This number remains 0000000000 (11 zeros) if the post is the working partner instead of a bank.
