Send-Ahead Quantity Field, Machine Center Table
Specifies the send-ahead quantity.
The send ahead quantity is the minimum quantity in an operation that you want to process in order to start the next operation. If you enter a quantity in this field, the program overlaps the current operation at this machine center with the next operation.
For example, there are 100 parts available for processing at a machine center. The send-ahead quantity is ten. The next operation can begin when these ten parts have been finished.
You can enter a decimal value in this field.
