Description Field, Inventory Page Data Table

Displays the description of the availability line.

The field content can vary depending on the source and purpose of the availability line. The following content may be displayed:

  • Inventory and Inventory at SKU when the line reflects items in inventory.

  • Period name such as Day or Week.

  • Item name when the source is a production order or a transfer order.

  • Customer name when the source is a sales order or a blanket sales order.

  • Vendor name when the source is a purchase order.

  • Forecast name when the source is a production forecast.
