Routing Version Table

Defines and organizes routing versions.

The version principle enables you to manage several versions of routings. The structure of the routing version corresponds to the structure of the routing. The routing version consists of the routing version header and routing lines. The basic difference is the time validity of the versions. The validity is defined by the starting date of each version (every older version gets invalid by the starting date of the next version). By using routing versions you can set up new versions long time before they become valid.

To see routing versions, on the routing card or in the Routing List window, click Routing, Versions.

To set up new versions you can use one of the following methods:

  • If you have set up a routing version code on the routing card as a default routing version number series, press ENTER to have the program fill in this field with the next number in the series.

  • If you have not set up a routing version number series for routing version, or if the number series has a check mark in the Manual Nos. field, you can enter a number manually. You can enter a maximum of 10 characters, both numbers and letters.
