Calendar Absence Entry Table
Specifies the amount of absences for a work center or machine center.
An absence can result from vacations or company holidays.
Absences are excluded from the available capacity when you run the Calculate Work Center Calendar batch job. Absence entries reduce the available time of a work or machine center. The available time is the number of hours a work or machine center can be used. For example, a work center working one eight-hour shift for five days a week is available 40 hours a week. If you enter an absence for a whole day in this week, the available time will be reduced to 32 hours.
You need to update an absence in the calendar with the update functionality. To update the absence entries, click Absence, Update from the Absence window.
